
Ezra Pilar Rodriguez is a fiction writer, playwright, and editor based in Baltimore, Maryland. He presently acquires fiction titles for Stillhouse Press and additionally is a reader for the literary journal phoebe and the speculative magazine Plott Hound. Previously to this, he spent two years working at the Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency and seven years at Johns Hopkins University Press, assisting the history and life science lists in addition to acquiring books in education studies.
Ezra’s fiction has previously been featured in Strange Horizons and Plentitude Magazine and their full-length play “We All Fall Down” was featured in the D.C. Queer Theater Festival in 2020. They recieved their B.A. in Writing Seminars from Johns Hopkins University in 2018 and is currently a 1st year MFA candidate in fiction at George Mason University. Ezra lives in Baltimore with their husband and three cats. They are forever on the hunt for the perfect milkshake.
